Join us for the experience of a lifetime! At Fun and Learn we offer a coed camp for Fun and Learning. It's a linguistic and cultural immersion camp where we join European and North American cultures. Live with Spanish campers near Barcelona up on the Pyrenees mountains and near Girona and the beach!
A summer camp to have lots of fun while learning.
DATES: from 15 to July 22nd in Vilanova de Sau.
AGES: 7 - 16
Every day there are 3 hours of conversation time in small groups to reinforce the speaking combined with 3 blocks of horseback riding, pool, workshops, night games...
Also during the camp we are going to kaiac at Sau water resort and we will use the hanging adventure park.
The spoken language during the day is English.
International campers can decide what language they want to practice during the daily three hours of language conversation (English, Spanish or Catalan).
We do not use grammar books and we believe in the natural way of learning with the linguistic immersion.
We look for the motivation to keep learning the language.
In Fun and Learn we know that during camp days we have under our responsability the most important of a family. Our counselors team is strictly chosen.
In all our programs we follow the Generalitat de Catalunya law and our ratio is 1 counselor per 6/7 kids.
Our counselors are native speakers, except the ones who by law have to have the Generalitat de Catalunya degree. Those are English translators, English teachers or English bachelors degree.
All the counselors are specially trained and have the knowledge to garantee the three main goals of Fun and Learn:
your child safety, the fun and learning of the language.

The international participants live together with the Spanish participants during all the activities. The only time they are separated is during the three hours of conversation time.
During the rest of the day the groups of campers are dividied by ages.
In the dorms boys and girls are separated by age and gender, not by language.
During the meals the seating tables at the dining hall changes every three meals in order to give the opportunity to meet everybody at camp.
During the Camp there are the following meals included: breakfast, fruit in the morning, lunch, snack and dinner.
There is kitchen and cook in the house as well.

A summer camp house (Les Tallades) in the middle of the mountains near a water resort, with a nice warm weather in the summer.
A powerful and inspiring landscape, Sau overwhelms our senses through its immense walls. Unique combinations of geologic color and erosional forms decorate the surroundings of our camp.
It's only 15 minutes away from a town called Vic.
The summer camp house is legalized to hold camp activities with young campers. Among it's facilities there are separate bedrooms with bathroom inside, kitchen, dining hall, several rooms for class and activities and many different spaces inside and outside for all kind of activities, swimming pool, soccer field, basketball court, rock climbing...

Arrival time is between 5:00 and 6:00 pm and pick up time between 11:00 and midday. At pick up time there are going to be some beverages and some snacks.
When you arrive the first day there is going to be a counselor who will tell you where to drop off your child.
Parents drive their children and pick them up too.
There is a bus service from Barcelona for international students. Please contact us for more information about pick up times.
