SUMMER CAMP COUNSELORS
All the counselors are especially well trained to educate. All the Spanish counselors have the Official Certificate of Counselor and Education, as well as a good knowledge of English. All the counselors have attended training sessions and personal interviews. The Spanish counselors facilitate the linguistic and cultural immersion for the American participants.
CITs
Every year, during the Easter and summer camps, we have what we call the CIT (Counselor in Training) program. CIT participants must turn 17 during the year they take part in the program or be 18 years old, and they must be motivated to gain their first experience as a camp counselor. To become a CIT, applicants must submit a résumé in English and take part in an online interview in English, as English is the only speaking language at the camps.
CITs are volunteers and they only pay for their stay.
