Football/Soccer camp in Tavernoles, Can Ton Xic with the best trainers in Spain
Dates:
from July 7th to July 13th and 14th to July 20th 2024
Ages: from 7 to 16 years old
The camp is all in English but if you are willing to learn Spanish/Catalan every day you will be able to join three hours of guided conversation. Also most of our campers are Spaniards but a good number are international willing to learn Spanish.

HOW DO YOU COMBINE FOOTBALL/SOCCER AND LANGUAGE?
Fun and Learn philosophy is learning English & Spanish with the linguistic immersion.
For this reason the spoken language at camp is English, even during training time. And for those who want to learn Spanish there are three hours of conversation time every day (the local campers take English during those 3 hours).
Every day there are two different sessions of football/soccer, combined with swimming pool and other sports.
During the camp we are going to do kayak in Sau water resort.
SPORT GOALS
• To familiarize, develop and improve the basis of the game, a individual and as a group
• To participate and enjoy in an active way the sports and fun activities
• To develop the correct habit sports as the fair play, competitiveness and camaraderie.
WHAT LANGUAGE DO THE CAMPERS SPEAK?
Counselors and coaches speak only in English during all the times in the campus. During the three hours of conversation times you can choose between English/Spanish or Catalan.
COUNSELORS AND COACH TEAM
In Fun and Learn we know that during camp days we have under our responsability the most important of a family. Our counselors team is strictly chosen.
In all our programs we follow the Generalitat de Catalunya law and our ratio is 1 counselor per 6/7 campers.
Our counselors are native speakers, except the ones who by law have to have the Generalitat de Catalunya degree. Those are English translators, English teachers or English bachelors degree.
All the counselors are specially trained and have the knowledge to garantee the main goals of Fun and Learn:
your child safety, the fun and learning of the language and the practice of soccer.
During the soccer/football week we live together with the multiactivity English camp, therefore we have the great opportunity to meet more counselors from different parts of the world during conversation, pool, night games, caiac times. It is great.

We have one special dinners, both outside at the terrace. One night is the American dinner and we have hamburgers with french fries.

THE HOUSE AND ITS SURROUNDINGS
HOW DO WE DIVIDE THE GROUPS DURING THE DAY?
During soccer/football sessions we divide the groups by age and level.
During activity time they are divided depending on the age and for the rooms they are divided by age and gender (mixed with the rest of the campers).
PICK UP AND DROP OFF AT THE SUMMER CAMP HOUSE
Arrival time is between 5:00 and 6:00 pm and pick up time between 10:00 and 11:00 am
When you arrive the first day there is going to be a counselor who will tell you where to drop off your child.
Parents drive their children and pick them up too.
There is a bus service from Barcelona for international students. Please contact us for more information about pick up and drop off times in Barcelona.
REGISTRATION, PAYMENT AND DISCOUNTS
Once you have done the registration online you will receive registration forms with all the information and payments. To make the reservation you pay 250€ and you can pay the rest up until one month before the Summer Camp starts.
There is an Earlybird discount for all the applications received before February 28th: 30€
There is also 30€ discount for the second sibling registering in the same program.
COST OF THE PROGRAM
July 9th to July 15th 2023: 679€ (price per week)
The price includes:
3 hours of language conversation time every day, meals (breakfast, snack, lunch, snack, dinner), 2 daily soccer training sessions, swimming pool daily,, 1 T-shirt, accident insurance, all the materials
