THE SUMMER CAMP
Two weeks in an American Summer Camp in New Hampshire state (EUA). One of the New England areas where we can find the most pure English.
During the weeks campers will only live together with American campers and they will enjoy learning English while having fun in the middle of the beautiful nature.
A very interesting opportunity to know the English language and culture.
The activities are very daring!!! Archery, kayak, rock climbing, fishing, bikes, team building games, camp fires, excursions, high ropes, swimming in natural lakes, cooking, photography, primitive skills…
And during all the time there is always a Fun and Learn counselor who flies with the group from Barcelona and stays at camp taking care of our campers.
COMPLETE LINGUISTIC IMMERSION
We guarantee that during the Summer Camp in the USA our campers ONLY live together with American campers and counselors. The only international group at camp is Fun and Learn’s.
During July and August we fly three times with different groups to guarantee the exclusiveness and be able to experience a total linguistic immersion.
Groups of Fun and Learn are maximum of 10-15 people who are divided among 200 American campers.
We practice English without classes and with campers of the same age.
After 18 years, Fun and Learn guarantees that after being in our Summer Camp in the United States there is an important change in the language learning.
FRIENDSHIPS THAT LAST FOREVER
After living together during the Summer Camp campers start a friendship that will last forever.
This helps to keep the learning of the language alive even in the distance. Nowadays we have all kind of vias of communication.
English speaking friends help us to improve our language and motivate us to keep learning.
TRANSPORT
The airport of departure and arrival is Barcelona and in the USA is in Boston (MA).
Once we arrive at the airport, a bus from the Summer Camp pick us up and drives us to the Summer Camp in New Hampshire. The last day they bring us back to Boston.
During the plane time, transfers, Summer Camp stay, there is always a Fun and Learn counselor with the group to guarantee the safety of the campers.
SORROUNDINGS
The Summer Camp is located in the New Hampshire state, one hour and a half away from the city of Boston.
New Hampshire is a small state in the USA. It is in New England, in the north east of the country and it borders with Massachussets in the south, with Vermont in the west, with Quebec in the North and with Maine and Atlantic Ocean in the east.
It is the second estate with more extension of woods. It is full of mountains, woods and lakes where you can find all kind of animals.
The Summer Camp owns a big extension of land, with a lake in its property. It it surrounded by woods and nature.
ACCOMMODATION
The accommodation is in cabins where there are bunk beds and ensuite bathroom.

MEALS
During meal times is when all the campers gather together in the same dining room. Tables are divided by cabin groups or by activity groups.
Meals are prepared every day in the Camp kitchen and it is very assorted.
During lunch and dinner there is always a salad bar + main dishes.
*there are always adapted menus for any special food needs (also vegetarian and vegan option).
SIGHTSEEING IN BOSTON & NYC
Boston:
Boston is the capital and the biggest city of Massachusetts state, in the USA. It is also the cultural and business center of all New England and it was founded in 1630. It is one of the most important cities of the country and its economy is based mainly in education, health care, finances and technology.
Some things to do:
walk around old part of the city, parks and gardens, city hall, financial area, shopping, museums, theatres, aquarium, whales sightseeing, visit Cambridge and Harvard univeristy, a Red Sox beisball game…
New York:
only 4 hours on a bus or 1 less than one hour on a plane.
New York is the cultural and economical most important city in the world. . New York offers an unique life style that we can not explain, you have to live it and enjoy it.
Some things to do:
musical in Broadway, Times Square, Brooklyn Bridge, a walk in Central Park, visit the museums, shopping in Fifth Avenue, feel like a broker in Wall Street, visit the Statue of Liberty…
